A Christmas Surprise!

On a cold, snowy morn, I stroll to my mailbox and what did I see

A bundle of bills, ads and holiday stickers, something free!

Way in the back, a Christmas card from my brother who is away

He surely is thoughtful, his wishes can brighten up my day

I then look on the seal and I am surprised from what it said

It is, You must R. I. T. H. joyfully in letters bright red

Quickly I open it, there's Santa, Mrs. Claus under a mistletoe

Inside is a tiny bell with a message, Ring In The Holidays, Ho Ho Ho!

I warmly giggle as I ring the bell with a sweet, pleasant sound

Out of bushes come, squirrels, rabbits and a cat, friends that I have found What a special feeling, I'm thankful for life's happiness all around!

Have a Very, Merry Christmas Season 2009-10!
