Marvelled at Nature!
Before skating, Sister Beth and Sister Mary view the birds, scenery
Bright picturesque winter, the sun is nice, pleasing as can be
Sister Mary now sadly notices a coat hanger, litter and a rusted can
This kind of polluting is crudely senseless, just blame it all on man
"It’s sad that people don’t respect paradise, the joy that nature brings!"
They look around, winter is a lovely princess who delightfully sings
Across the ice, Sister Beth now points to a beaver’s den of great style
She closes her eyes to picture a beaver, he shows a big friendly smile
The daydream makes her laugh, she thinks of a beaver, amazingly smart
In her mind, that coat hanger was perfectly shaped into a stunning heart
Happy Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2010
Hope it’s filled with love, warmth and happiness!
