How I Wish We Had Met

I had a dream last night, thought I'd make a poem out of it

I felt your chest pressed tightly against my spine

Your hands were placed around my waist

I felt safe, as I knew that your hollow heart was mine

I heard you whisper, a gentle hush in my ear

Apologise, for your disguise,

That your first love, was only fear

I tasted your lips, a kiss so sweet

Who taught you to taunt me

So mischieviously? You tyrant, you cheat

I sensed, in the darkness, your hazy silhouette

I awake alone, I miss the feel of your lips

A distant moan : "how I wish we had met "
