Poetry By: walkingonfate

This is a poem mainly about jealously, love and heartache

I ache under the burden of knowing

that you will never be mine

that your relationship is growing

day by day, every kiss, each time

With that girl, in the court yard

the one you kiss, the one you hug

and then you meet me : 'Up to art?'

Wipe your lips, smirk so smug

We sit so close, with our knees touching

our hands brush, I blush

My heart beats, my blood's rushing

Your voice, so hush,

My legs are weak, this is too much

"So what are you plans for weekend?"

Kiss Kiss

Your text is exciting, I reply, press send

Nothing much, you? xx

I cant resist

I roll my eyes at your reply

To my desparate knees I fly!

"Same really"... I scroll down, I'm fuming!

"I'll just see what the girlfriend's doing"

Behind the vacant look in my eye

Under the cover of a heavy sigh

Whilst you murmur : "Okay so the answer is six root seven"

We knock knees, I'm in heaven

"Have I lost you know?" You ask,

He senses me completely off task

I glance down at the numbers : 'What the heck?'

I imagine him breathing down my neck
