Playing around with words that rhyme again maybe it will help me to write this childrens book. This is not kids book material but things that just keep pouring out of me as dwell on old memories.

Throw it all away
Leave it all behind
shut the fossiled door
conclude the final rhyme
Give unto yourself
one last long dreadful look
story is over
lesson learned
now its time to close the book

Amber lamplight love
sheets cinched up like a sack
slowly sinking now
looking down but never back
Two hearts of concrete bricks
two lips to sweeten the song
one body is all that will remain
in this graveyard in which we belong
