Remember the lake
And the gold-flecked waves
And how we laughed,
How that felt?
And remember the still night
When the stars gazed at us
Together in the moon's half-light
Alone, but together
Remember staying up til dawn
Worrying and laughing
An eternity in a moment
And everything was fine
Remember tha caress?
Remember the kiss?
Remember being closer
Than anyone would get?
It was a great joy
Ascending time and space
Surrounded by millions
But together, we were alone
