When I started properly writing poetry as like a hobby and an outlet last year this was the first poem I wrote.

Chasing thoughts all around my mind, a splinter, piercing thought with wounds defined.
Confusing Fantasy with real life, a love unchallenged in my mind.
An Eager Heart, A Love Unkind, Most Painful bruises Deep Inside.
Open Hands, Closed Minds, Sleeping, Dreams so far behind.
Running Feet and Open spaces, Fencing close behind far off places.
Sweet Eyes and distant calls, a feeling behind four walls
Awake Alone, touching cold, barren wasteland, memories of old.
Skipping Beats, A lover weeps, the sigh of tommorrow morning creeps.
A slamming door, needing more, engulfing all the insecure.
Mixed Signs and well placed lines, walking on jagged pines.
Forgotten Days In Yellow Haze,  the scenery across the land.
Lips pressed up to deaf ears, shadows hightened letters with fears.
A shallow grave, the name unknown, the mourners light in darkness blown.
Stepping back, finding cracks in possible solutions.
Breathing in, screaming out, sick of false illusions.
Wanting him, hating fate, falling back to watch and wait.
Biting teeth with worried skies, unconventional and failing to fight.
When Hearts Are crossed, Right answers are often lost.
