Illuminated smile
You look at me and smileMy heart seems to meltAll the ink in the world Can’t express how it felt All my problems go awayWith the comfort of your voiceI’m giving you my whole heart And that was my choice I wish I could tell youI wish that I could explainThat when I’m going under You seem to make me sane Those other guys hurt meAnd always left me jadedBut when I thought I’d hit rock bottomThe pain just faded I’ve only given one other guyMy whole and open heartBut I’m going to tell you nowThat he tore it all apart So please be carefulWhen you hold my heart in your handIm scared of the pain I hope you understand I know I may be youngAnd probably blind as wellBut if you catch me nowI’ll forget I ever fell I can live without youBut I’d like it stay this wayI know you won’t hurt meI know we’ll be okay So as we sit and talkLike we are right nowI fear that this may endAnd I wonder when or how But now my heart is like Christmas lightsThey illuminate your smileI’ll sit here in your armsIf only for a while
