Your Revelation

Poetry By: White Shadow

This poem is for you: the teacher, the doctor, the lawyer, the student, the emo, the nerd, the christian, the random civilian....the reader. You are my hero. When times are tough, it is you that sticks through till the end. You that defeats those enemies in your path. You that will never give up or give in, even when it is so tempting to. Even when you lose your job and have no way to support your family. Even when you're harrassed at school for being different. Even when you're pressured by peers to go against your beliefs. This poem is about your fight, your perseverance, your victory.

Down upon the sand and grain
I fell,
my hands a crimson stain.
And with heart's breath,

I cried in pain
for life's own end to settle near.

And in the distance came the one
who burned my shackles
with his Sun.
Whose perfect soul is yet
the gleaming light of my frontier.

For when he came love took away
The burning Shadows
of the day.
But darkness fell,
to my Dismay
and covered me amidst with fear.

Now all alone I cower deep.
My only hope
has gone to sleep,
And then thought struck
no more I weep
Forever Standing Pioneer.
