Memento Mori

He arrives in her dooryard in a small yellow Porsche
Out of years past and other lives
A yellow Porsche, carrying a-man-and-his-dog
Hollywood package unit
Dropping into her Potsham dooryard like a UFO

Ten days later, she watches his yellow Porsche
Carrying a-man-and-his-dog
Swing out and away down the road
Out of her dooryard, her reach and her life
And finds, though he is gone, he has not left her
