Third Attempt at Haiku
Crow’s Nest
Handicapped Parking
Crow lands to take his command
Captain Crow on deck
Savings Time
In wintertime snowplows
Scrape hard to bank all the snow
Snow saved in snow banks
Upside Down Wonder
Eye records image
Upside down at back of eye
Why don’t I fall down?
Age isn’t Just a Number
Soon I turn eighty
Age slowly slowly shrinks me
Gravity’s impress
Quicksilver
Avoiding my grasp
Springing clear and beading fast
Nascent thought bounces
What Calls?
Wake to urgency
Ringing ... calling ... urgency
Please - leave a message
Jack the Giant Killer
Should Jack eat those beans
Will he feel a giant dread?
Will those beans stalk him?
Mute-tation
Often I lose words
Dumbed down, made mute by love
New life can do that
Sun Strokes
The sun beats down strong
The sound of its heat too loud
Thudding in my ears
Springtime Promises
Stands by her new bed
Hipshot, very well content
Flower-seeded rows
