Poetry By: Wilbur

Thoughts can outrun their thinker shutting the thinker out. -- Only for a time it is hoped.

My thoughts are like a water wall

Like water in a waterfall

Solid rushing fast and hard

Not something I will want to charge

They come past me in rapid strength

So tall so wide no gauging length

There is no way no break no gate

They daunt my wish to penetrate

To chance the hissing falling weight

The thoughts rush past impatient, late

And rush for what and more where to

I'm left outside a stranger who

Is not important to their world

Attempt to enter and be hurled

I'd rather stand here dry and lone

And wonder how I made this poem
