A Dream! part 2
I jumped out of bed, to type it all out
then realized it rhymed so i let out a shout
Its so easy to remember, i just need to rhyme
quite fitting i thought, for dreams don't have time.
A dream?
I call it a dream but that's not the right word
its only called that, because of what i have heard.
Like a chair is a chair, to you and to me
what if you were told from birth, that its called a tree?
A dream?
I typed it all up, and filed it away
jumped in the shower then started my day.
The phone is going to ring, its Jane i knew
then it rang, it was Jane, right on cue.
A dream?
Not only did i know that, but i felt it too!
like an energy force with direction and a view.
A vibration of sorts without any pain
now I'm thinking that maybe, I'm going insane?
A dream!
Jane was left hanging on the other end of the phone
I hung up the receiver, knowing i wasn't on my own.
I turned around and there before my eyes
was a long dead neighbour, what a lovely surprise.
A dream!
She had with her a clip board with paper and pen
and a list of things to do, and I was number ten
"I'm here so you remember who you really are,
I'm here to tell you that you will go far".
A dream!
Then out of the blue, that same door appeared
the one in my dream, i thought, oh! how weird.
I looked behind me and there saw a head
it was me sleeping peacefully in my own bed.
A dream!
