Bond in Paris

Poetry By: Writing Warrior

I recently bought a new pet rat, and named her Paris. She's a frightened little girl. While attempting to bond with my new furry friend, I was whispering some words, to calm her down. I found myself singing this little poem to her. I hope you enjoy Paris's poem!

Hush little one,

Don't cry like that.

Your brighter than the sun.

Home is where you're at.

My little star,

This is were you belong.

You'll go very far.

Please don't think I'm wrong.

I know you are too frightened,

To bond with me.

Your life will be brightened.

Believe in me.

I'm no threat to you.

Like your no threat to me.

I will make soft and quiet coos.

You will feel very free.

Together we'll be one.

We'll never be torn apart.

Together we'll have fun.

Fly further than a dart.

All it takes is our deep trust,

As fierce as a threatened cat.

Love and care is a must,

For my new pet rat!
