Their corpses lie with staring eyes
Blind they are to clear blue sky’s
The sea runs red of their living blood
Fishermen laugh as only they could
But is it fish that they have killed?
To what proud hunt have they just thrilled?
No tis dolphin carcass that fills this bay
Shame have these fishermen caught this day
They try to hide behind hanging shroud
For being spurned by watching crowd
But who can kill with accustomed ease
None other than the Japanese
And while they slaughter these beasts at sea
We buy their goods with consummate glee
They make us things to drive around
But make no whale or dolphin I am bound
So think of this next time you buy
Those dead creatures with unseeing eye
