It was the year 2001

The ninth month September

The date was the 11th

Up above the clouds in the pale blue sky

Awaits destruction upon innocent lives in New York City

September

Remember

Our loved members

The people of all shapes & sizes

Painted in different coloured shades

Carrying on with their daily living

September

Remember

Our loved members

As aeroplanes soar and glide across the sky

Into the

South tower

North tower

Black & grey fumes

Explosions of red, orange & yellow flames

Echoes of screams & shouts

As the world trade centre collapses with the

South & North

towers

& other buildings

Noises of falling bodies

crashing through glass

A mass of bodies

September

Remember

Our loved members

As places fill with dust

Droplets of debris & ash

Disappearance of twin towers

Replaced by brightly coloured flowers

Tears of sorrow

Hurtful souls

As the people enter ground zero for their memorial
