Things I Can and Cant Change

There are things I can change and things

that I just cant so it makes me realize

what to really stress over

I can change my out look on things but I cant

change the past

So why am I stressing over the things

that I cant do anything about

I can change the pressent and my grades

but I cant change the times were I didnt speak up

or said the wrong things

So yes there are going to be times were

things didnt work out as planned, but it

shows me how to move on and accept how

it ended

I have to admit I had friendships that ended

or didnt work out but I learned to get past it

no matter how hard it was for me because I learned

that friendship will come and go but you only need

that one friend that will always be there

I cant take back the time I wasted on the things

that I should of already moved on

or the things that I could of said differently

I cant take back the fights I had with friends

I also cant change how things ended

There fore I shouldnt focus on the things that

I cant, I should focus on what I can rather than cant

So maybe all the people that have hurt me

Should be the ones to thank in the end because

without them some of these poems wouldnt be written
