Howling at the Gates of Hell (Angellynn's Poem Challenge)

Poetry By: yuu shindemura

Angelynn's poem challenge
Genre: suicide themed poem

'Tis the first challenge I entered making on poems, although I lost the ability to perceive this type of written literature, still I was able to grasp a minute form of horror I found within my deepest abyss of feelings.

Howling at the Gates of Hell

The truth is behind these gates
Tides and cries of ill-wretched fates
Satin lies the coffin showing a face
Soon I heard my yearning for fallen grace.

Knives to guns, all in all blood for lust
Nowhere to run by the people you cannot trust
Howling at heaven's gates for sadness
Descent despair stained with madness.

Taking my own life my soul burns
Into the lake of fire that eternity turns
As the tale goes to eternity fire they tell
Don't really know the truth that tolled hell's bell.

From daybreak to nightfall all meaningless
Once in hell the moment tarnished the fear so speechless
So what do I have to loose if I die
Pain for the soul is nowhere to be felt, cry or sigh.

Give up the soul for the demon's hand
Your tongue tasting the despair's sand
Temptation rises as blade shining perfection
A perfection towards the preferred destruction.

Hearts fail as hatred and losing hope prevailed
Start ceasing the life you owned and once hailed
Farewell to ode for your sins taking your own life
and enter the hell's gates beyond for the afterlife.

...the fallen, awaits...
