BE THERE

make me laugh

when I feel like crying

help me smile

if I'm wearing a frown

hold my hand

if I'm looking lonely

cheer me up

if depression gets me down

show some kindness

when the world treats me badly

lead the parade

and be my silly clown

but most of all, my friend

I ask one thing of you

just be there

when life gets me down
