Dearest Juliet

Poetry

Another crappy free-verse poem. It's a work in progress.

I've dreamt of you, darkly
Now come my dear Juliet
Press your sharp teeth into my skin
Like rusted arrows of cupid
Drain me of all emotions, of all words
Of all pain, of all blood and ink
Desecrate me, love me, let me taste
Warm death inside your mouth
My life dripping from your plush lips
Let our hearts pound in unified decadence
A perfect rhythm on the page
Leave your mark upon my throat,
Upon my wrist, upon my thigh
Lie with me, six feet beneath the ground
And hold my hand like a lover
While you kill me softly
With poetry
