Deceiving Deception

Poetry By: Zin Dar

A play with words, looks and ideas.
While semi-inspired by brucek and other sources, I had something I've been thinking about a while, hope it boggles your mind in a mind-boggling way ;-)

Somewhat annoying that the third line on fourth stanza gets broken into two lines, but I'll keep it that way for the setup I wanted... Booksie easily breaks up the template, so I won't touch anything :-P

Buried within the truths,
Where no darkness lies
Beneath the light
We find lies.

They are deceiving
dark and treacherous,
Where evil is lingering
calm and ferocious.

Buried within the lies,
Absent of light
Beneath the darkness
Truths are found.

These are enlightening
bright and binding,
Where goodness breaks through
calm and ferocious.

Any man
in his illusionary reals
and real illusions,
Equally capable
of either,
not neither,
but both,
buries his lies in truths,
and truths in lies.
