It was around 11pm, I had just gone to bed, I was still texting a friend who was going to a friends house.

I cannot remember esactly how the conversation went, but it was something like this.

Jasmine: "oh man its raining, and I have to walk for ages to get to my friends house".

Me: "who cares about getting wet, it hasent rained for months, you should embrace it. You should dance in the rain.

I lay in bed for a while and thought up a poem and sent it to Jasmine it went something like this:

Me: imagine this in a jamaican accent,

The rain has the rythem, and you are the beat.

Dance in the rain girl, dance with your feet.

*

The rain is the singer and you are the lyrics,

Paint the earth with with your delicate feet.

*

The rain has come, and so have you.

You have shared a dance with an ancient being,

A dance long forgotten, a dance truly healing.

Jasmine did reply but I cannot remember what she said because after I sent her the poem I fell asleep in my bed.
