So some of us walked as others of us ran

through the thick jungle and across this wild land

Facing our troubles head on with no one to trust

looking to escape them as they looked straight back at us.

You've been lying said the lion on the trail

and they ran from the lion though as slow as a snail

Why did you bite her said the tiger in a tree

did you think that you could get away from me.

And you haven't cared said the bear so tall

and they ran away fast while feeling so small

At last down to me and though as I tried

I couldn't get away, oh me, oh my.

Whoever you are, you are lucky I think

if this bottle gets to you, if this bottle doesn't sink

And why did you start that fire said the vampire in the dark

as he clamped down upon them with teeth razor sharp.

You shot that poor horse on the hoof said the Werewolf mean

and they ran so fast it was something to be seen

That crazy man must be the devil, if not he should have been

for here now on this island I sure could use a friend.

They're all chasing after us, this is no senior trip

because you can't hide from trouble, don't think we'll make it

Who's that, oh no, it can't be, mom and dad on my tail with a switch

I'm sweating, it's hot and so bad that my nerves are in a twitch.

I dived head first to swim in the river of Doubt

Going to have to cool off before I could ever get out

I just knew that it was my sister that went and told

about that candy bar that I went and stole.
