Born and raised in Oakland, California, I enjoyed drawing and painting throughout my youth, and had aspirations of becoming a cartoonist. It wasn’t until I joined the military that I discovered that the images so easily projected with a drawing could also be expressed with the written word. I have spent the better part of the last decade writing poetry, short stories, and novel length stories. Currently I am serving in the U.S. Army as a Captain, stationed in El Paso, Texas with my beautiful wife and wonderful children.
