Christmas is a story that unintentionally became a toy...
I now live in Oregon, but was raised in the midwest. Even though I've been on the west coast for a number of years, I still find the lion's share of my memories, and the bits and pieces of what make up my stories and poems back there in the Winter Wonderland of my childhood..
I am married to my best friend, and we have a very talented and intellegent daughter that we both adore.
I can't imagine that I will ever become a famous writer, but for me, fame can also be described as having the ability to enticce people into feeling something. Much of my writing is sad, and yet I love humor, so it therefore it should come as no surprise when the two are laid out side by side. My goal is not to make the reader sad, but to expose those "elephant in the living room" feelings that most people bury and replace with day to day activities. Even though the two are inextricably linked, I always have the sense that I am more in touch with myself and those around me if I keep these feelings nearby and available.
