This piece of writing was inspired by 'The Holy Spirit' and the film 'Knowing'. It was written hopefully to apply to everyone in one way or another.

Enjoy...

GOD’S TIME TO ASK!

“Why on the 1st January 1997, did you turn away one of my children when she asked could she stay the night because her landlord had thrown her out?

Matthew 25:35-39

Why on the 2nd February 1998, did you not acknowledge my presence and my desire to protect you when you went and faced your enemies unprepared?

Ephesians 6:14-18

Why on the 3rd March 1999, did you fall so easily for the words of man yet my words that should have been engraved in your heart faded so quickly?

Proverbs 4:20-21

Why on the 4th April 2000, did you not seek my guidance and direction before marrying someone that would delay your destiny?

Proverbs 3:5

Why on the 5th May 2001, did you not give your child unto me, that I may bless her and her future?

1 Samuel 1:22

Why on the 6th June 2002, did you walk past the beggar on the pavement even when your child said ‘mommy look!’?

Matthew 25:35-39

Why on the 7th July 2003, did you not seek the prophet I sent to Manchester for your sake, called Abimbola Komolafe?

matthew 10:41

Why on the 8th August 2004, did you sit in the midst of sinners as they spoke lies making you doubt and grow ashamed of me?

Psalm 1:1; Mark 8:38

Why on the 9th September 2005, did you witness your sister-in-law suffering and not feed her with my words?

John 21:17

Why on the 10th October 2006, did you not trust me enough to carry your burden as your husband walked out?

Matthew 11:28

Why on the 11th November 2007, did you go almost 6 months before calling me back into your life and the life of your children?

Isaiah 55:3

Why, on the 12 December 2008, did your faith evaporate, as you cried for weeks about how you would manage for tomorrow?

Romans 4:20

Why, in your lifetime, did you not forgive the mistakes of your family and friends, so that I could forgive you; or lose you way, even after I revealed the outcome to you; or ignore the words of wiser and older Christians, because I spoke through them?”

If only once a year we sin before Our Lord, then this would be a better scenario than our reality. Are you prepared for God’s questions of why’s and why not’s? Are you prepared to answer Him honestly and truthfully, and admit openly that you were just plain weak and selfish that you chose to ignore His words, commandments, promises?

Understand! I judge not, because God’s judgement shall come unto all.

“ Are you prepared? ”

[This is the ultimate question]

Psalm 25
