The external world visible to us in its myriad forms appears to be solid and real. . But few who know the art of discrimination realize it to be an illusion .Great souls have incarnated at various intervals to explain mysterious happenings of nature .Lord Krishna stands above all. He was not just a great soul but he was Lord Supreme. The sixteen kalas, which constitute facets of Great Purusha namely Prana, faith, the five great elements, the senses, mind, food, strength, thoughts, mantra, karma, world and name manifested in him in full colur .

During his child he displayed feat of valour by killing a large number of demons including Pootana ,Aghasur and Bakasur who represent our evil mental vrittis . Some unholy minds, the charlatans frown over Krishna’s association with Gopis, considering it to be illicit relationship. Nothing can be done for these people for narcissism has killed their susceptibilities .Little they are aware of the highest plane of consciousness which is seat of functioning of these great souls .It’s of little importance to them whether they are living in a palace or a hut, whether they are in a company of beautiful woman or a madman .Taking note of our poor state of our mind, we should at least restrain from engaging in a senseless criticism.

Lord Shri Krishna was a great statesman .Although he could have saved His face by distancing away from the crisis that loomed large over the Pandavas ,he preferred to represent them .It wasn’t lack of sincere effort from the side of Sri Krishna that resulted in war . It was haughtiness of Kauravas which blocked all other options except war .Nevertheless battlefield prepared the ground for Shri Krishna to deliver eternal song -the Bhagavad Gita .Humanity would always remain grateful to him for this kind gesture of His . The great sage Sukadeva in his praise says, “Thou are the highest in the highest! Who can talk about your infinite glory? ” . After witnessing the “ Virat Swoorp “ (Great Divine Form ) of Lord Krishna ,overwhelmed Arjuna accepting him to be the father of this complete manifestation ,of moving and unmoving says , “ No one is equal to you ,nor anyone can be one with You .How then could there be anyone greater than You within the three worlds ,O Lord of immeasurable power ” Lord Krishna freely engaged inn all sorts of activities .But for the sake of welfare of people he slowly shunned everything including his love. .The poverty of physical language leaves one helpless while describing love of Radha Krishna but even the most ordinary is spellbound by its novelty . Observing Shri Krishna at human level we find that isolation severely affected them him to an extent that in end he was left all alone. If one wishes to know more about him one would certainly find that throughout his life amid company of high and rich he remained aloof.

Lord Krishna is always with those who sincerely pursue cause of truth. .After all, he has promised to help seekers in all the ages and there is little to doubt over it. He has never failed in keeping his promises though at timers delay takes place to test our sincerity. Krishna says, “Seek not for life on earth or in heaven .Thirst for life is delusion. Knowing life to be transitory, wake up from this dream of ignorance and strive to attain knowledge and freedom before death claim thee.” Therefore, believing his words to be true, let us aspire to have perfect union with him to save ourselves from cycle of birth and death.
