My generation.

Romans 12:2. (NIV)

Do not Conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is- his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

My generation, we are told by Paul that we are not suppose to conform to this world, because we are not of it. We are of the kingdom of God. But, until this present day, I have not realized how far we have fallen from his perfect and unchanging will (Hebrews 13:8). when has it become a common idea among Christians that it is ok to disobey Gods orders mainly because they were written so long ago? Were not the same laws put in place when the world first fell in sin, and were they not what he intended for Adam and Eve to live out in their perfect and holy lives? "i'm a Christian, but..." I believe in gay marriage, I believe you can have abortion in case of (rape, mental retardation, inability to afford the child, it's a boy, it's a girl), I believe you can have sex before marriage, listening to songs that promote drugs, sex, abuse, rape, etc... is ok.

Without even knowing it we have conformed to standards not set by our God but by this worlds current ruler, Satan (John 14:30-31). we have fallen asleep, my generation! We have willingly allowed the devil to crawl into our bed and lull us to sleep with his lies and smooth words. even now, so many will hate me, persecute me, because they know the words I speak are of the truth and of the light (1 Corinthians 2:4-5) , and the devil hates the light. So many call ourselves of the light, but when judgment comes will will find that so many of us that called ourselves Christians are really followers of the devil (Romans 1:21) . Take a moment and think about that. Are you really a follower of Christ? Or are you merely someone who fancies him, maybe weakly, maybe strongly, but that's all it is to you. You like to practice Christianity, but you never actually begin living it.

WAKE UP! We call ourselves Christians, but are not. We are lukewarm in our faith, if we have the faith at all! I new very few who are radical in their faith, who are truly following Christ with their bodies as a living sacrifice! God hates those who defile his name, those who are lukewarm in faith and worship the darkness while saying they serve Him. In the end of days it says God will spit them out of his mouth, for he never knew them, as they have never known him (Revelation 3:16, Matthew 7:23). I strive every single day to become a better Christian, to grow closer to Christ, and to be more like him in my actions, thoughts, spirit, and words.

What has happen to us that we are so willing to believe the meekest of lies, but are so hardhearted when it comes to the Truth that we claimed we knew in the first place? My heart aches for you, my generation, it breaks and is in agony seeing you walk by everyday oblivious to the fantasy you've been sucked into! We are in a war, people. A bloody, hardcore, REAL war! But this war is not of the flesh and blood, but of the forces of darkness! What weighs heavy on my soul is that almost all are obvious to this, yet fight it every day. This war is being waged on our mind, on our soul, and so far we are losing! Light will win in the end, but that does not mean we will. We have been become P.O.W's. But whom of us is aware of this, who is with me in trying to break these chains and, at the same time, try to wake up our fellow soldiers around us?

My generation!!!! why do you allow yourself to be kept captive? why do you believe the lies? Why do you say you take pleasure in the dream, but behind closed doors mutilate your bodies and scream out for someone to save you? The savior is here, call on his name and he will come! No more excuses my generation, no more putting this off. Christ calls all of us to fight the good fight ( ), but none of us are! There are a few, but we are a limited number. And the number is dwindling with each passing lifetime. It is time to wake up my generation! It is time to start FOLLOWING Christ instead of ADMIRING Him. Jesus doesn't need an fan club, He needs an army.

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Romans 13:11-14
