As I sit here and write this essay, I hold before me the homework for Confirmation class. As I read through the list of the supposed gifts of the Holy Spirit, my mind began churning in anger, like an ocean roaring in a storm. The Holy Spirit is but a figment of an old man's imagination, something that he came up with to scare people to invest in his religion, almost like watching a car insurance commercial, believe or you are royally screwed. In this essay, I will move down the list of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and put their validity to the test, See if we are in disagreement by the time I am done with this phantom, if you disagree, I challenge you to write an essay titled "In Response to Refuting the Holy Spirit" and offer an alternative solution, and you must not use anything metaphysical, as that is exactly what I am refuting here. To discredit this, you must offer alternatives that even the most hardcore atheist can buy into. I dare you.
