Angels, Gods and Men

Essay By: TheScribe
Religion and Spirituality

This essay is an alternate view of God. Directly opposed to the Judeo-Christian god, this word view equates god to the concept of infinity coupled with a special energy flow called “Life Force” that exists in the microcosm as well as in the macrocosm of all existence. This life force is the Chinese Chi, or the Force from Star Wars – it is immeasurable via modern science yet it does not hinder some serious scientist to believe its existence..
The fire, cosmic fire (the invisible counterpart of the m undane fire, is also a good way to visualize God/Chi), this element is the most powerful.

Everybody has a “vision” of god. Even atheist have a “vision” - they view God is a figment of men's imagination, a product of our mind.
Not wishing to provide too much of a philosophical history and backdrop I will only briefly mention the differences in how men can visualize god.
God can be an external entity which means that this god is outside of our realm and he/she created all there is and somehow maintains it and controls us and everything else somehow. This world view has some logical holes in them. Mainly, while externalizing god we somehow placing ourselves separated from it hence god becomes an entity, a finite being. At the same time this god is responsible for all there is, meaning he/she created the plague, all ills of the world, causes wars and famine and so on.
There is a philosophical quandary in this god. How can someone of love, create an imperfect world? This god is either imperfect himself, or he is an impostor.

According to my teaching (as it was explained by Burt Wilson), "God" is an infinite principle, not an entity in any shape or form (not a spirit, or a form). This is a life force that exists in the Universe and emanated the Universes before this one and after, with what we know as a big bang. If we imagine the Universe (which scientist NOW know as finite), we can try to penetrate beyond the know Universe (in our minds) and there is Infinity. It has no beginning and no end. It is de facto God. This is a very different existence (in infinity) as our minds is conditioned and can only accept non abstract, finite concepts.
All life, including life on Earth and potential life in other Universes was not created but "made possible" with this force what we call Psychic Energy (or Chi, or Force from the Star Wars, etc), this life force is the extension of Infinity. So as I said many religious folk COULD argue that I am some kind of an atheist. We believe in evolution but also spiritual evolution beside the physical one.
My way of thinking is more of a philosophy than a religion. As you see most of what I "believe" is observable and scientifically confirmed. I firmly believe that quantum physics for instance will prove this theory and set the record straight in the minds of myriads of people who think god is some sort of an entity who punishes and scorns.

We must be careful in understanding the true meaning of the world transcendental and infinite. These are the most colorful terms and cannot be described properly. There is a catholic description of transcendental but that is misleading as it only describes something of not in form (not a physical entity).
True transcendental is all encompassing, limitless and permeating all that is and all that has potential to be.
So if this esoteric form of god is not interacting with mankind than you might wonder who is “minding the store”? Who is running things?
To answer and understand this question we must first accept that we all have this divine essence, part of infinity is us. Hence we have huge, outsized potential in all of us.
The other fact is that no matter how much we know, what insights and talents we develop there is always someone who will know more. This describes the Hierarchy. There are some of us who have managed to ascend our lower nature and reach our true purpose, our birthright. The ancients call these the Mahatmas, (great souls). There is a great description of the mahatmas that I used in the book the Mahatma Letters (ISBN 9781434836984).
I will quote from the back page:
The Mahatmas whom this book depicts are members of our own evolutionary group, not visitors from the celestial spheres. They are supermen only in that they have attained knowledge of the laws of life and mastery over its forces with which we are still struggling. They are not Gods come down to earth, but earthly mortals risen to the status of Christ. They ask from us no reverence, no worship; they demand no allegiance but that which it is expected we shall render to the principles of Truth and Fact, and to the nobility of life. They are our "Elder Brothers," not distant deities; and will even make their presence known to us and grant us the privilege of cooperating with them when we have shown ourselves capable of working unselfishly for mankind.

While the Mahatmas can be mistakenly thoughts as angels, in reality they are not.

The concepts of Angels stems from the typo in the bible, here for some reason the God (Elohim in Hebrew) is inserted in one place (genesis?). Elohim, is a word that is always used in plural, so properly translated it would be gods, not god.
Interestingly, all world religions posses the concept of archangels; celestial beings who act on god’s behalf. This can be explained by the fact that all word’s religions have a common element of truth that comes from the core Ancient Wisdom teachings in these religions. In Buddhism, Archangels are the Dhyan Chohans (Lord of Meditation).
Virtually all the world’s main religions, acknowledge the concept of these celestial beings.

Comments:

This kind of work transports the reader to entirely a new dimension of enlightenment. You are so right in saying that God is an infinite principle--- when we visualise eight forms of Shiva... they happen to be sun, moon, earth, water, air, soul, sky and fire... the same entity in all!!! It is mind boggling. But when someone says that God is the infinite principle, it makes sense. It means Shiva/God is the subtlest element behind all the elements.... God is a flow, a current, the underlying principle..

"Life was not created but "made pssible"... brilliant thought!

And when you say "part of infinity is us" along with rest of things, it brings the gift of assurance that we all have the potential to be Mahatmas or Angels.

Thanks for posting these beautiful thoughts.
