Gregg had risen from bed early the next day in order to prepare himself for the teaching that night. He watched the news that morning and saw how the media was praising Antoine Levine and knew that the longer they waited the more that would be sucked in by him.

The twenty-four hour news networks talked about nothing but this new leader. They followed him around as he went to meetings setting up his plans for the new world government.

It was not hard for people to follow what was happening. The technology of today had made it possible for every eye to behold him. All it took was a quick touch on a cell phone and people could watch him in the grocery checkout line.

Gregg watched as little as possible of Antoine that day as possible; only watching what he needed for the teaching. He could not stomach looking at him for very long.

The night came and the Upper Room church was packed more than the night before. It had looked like people had done what they were asked and brought someone; even Gregg had went by and picked up Mark’s former Super, Mike Kerr. He was very interested in what was happening and looked forward to hearing from Mark’s notes.

There were people that traveled from all over, as well. Mooney Lane had come from D.C.; his wife had followed the ministry and even went to a few revivals in the past.

Tony Esposito was shocked to find that television executives had come from L.A. He knew some of them and was getting their opinions on it.

“I don’t know what is going on, but it would make a great reality show.” One of the television producers stated.

They even tried and get Tony to give them some inside scoop for a possible pitch for a story, but he said he was in the dark just as much as they were.

The time came and Gregg stepped up to the podium. He was more prepared this night than the night before. He had prayed and studied all day, as well as fasted.

The crowd got seated and were waiting with great anticipation as to what was about to be delivered to them. Many of them were reeling from watching the news all day; many nearly convinced of all that Antoine had promised them.

“I have spent most of the day planning what I would say tonight. If you will allow me the time I have quite a bit to share. I looked over my brother’s notes and in order to understand the things going on I have to talk of more than the Antichrist and the False Prophet.”

“In order to come into knowledge of the future, we must review the past to understand the present. The first thing I will speak on is four of the seven churches that John wrote to in the Book of Revelation. Many have thought these churches to be just physical buildings in the past, but not so. John was speaking prophetically.”

“And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira; These things saith the Son of God, who hath eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. (Revelation 2:18, 19).

“This is the Church of the Dark Ages”, Gregg explained, “from the year 500 A.D. till the 1500’s. This was the church of the Vandal, the Huns, and the Goths. They had all the works of giving to the poor and what not, but they did not really have Jesus. This is the Church that ushered in idolatry worship; such as praying to statues. This is not of God.”

“Then the Church of Sardis mentioned in Revelation chapter three forms.  This Church was able to see the invention of the printing press; hence the King James Bible was printed. Then the Church was finally able to offer the Word of God to everyone. The Catholic Church before this time only made the Word available to priests and that is why their interpretation of it is so different.”

Gregg looked up and saw that everyone was still listening, hoping he was not confusing people. “This was also the time Martin Luther came along preaching that we are saved by grace, not of works. This does not mean we won’t have the works that follow. James said, shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. (James 2:18). James went on to say faith without works is dead. This Church simply believed that works would get you to Heaven, no salvation was preached.”

“Now, we get to the true Church, the one that pleased God enough to Rapture her from this world. I won’t go into it all tonight, but no fault could be found in the Church of Philadelphia. Because thou hath kept the word of my patience, I will also keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the world. (Revelation 3:10).”

“That hour of temptation is here, the Tribulation Period. The Church that was true and pleased God has been taken.”

“Then the final Church mentioned is that of Laodiceans. Jesus warned they were too worldly. I know thy works, that thy are neither cold nor hot: I would that thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:15, 16).”

“This Church made Jesus sick; literally. These were not sinners or backsliders; as many have falsely preached. No one is in the mouth of God but Christians. These Christians are sin free, but they are not in the Word like they should, they no longer pray or fast. They are lukewarm, so God spews them into the Tribulation Period.”
“I am not here to offend anyone with what I have said or what is about to be said, I only can give you the truth. What you are about to hear may hurt people of certain religious origins, but you have to believe the Word.”

“Now, we come to the part of this new leader.” Gregg continued. “In order to understand him we must understand the kingdoms that has already been.”

“And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet to come; and when he cometh. He must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.” (Revelation 17:10, 11).”

“Here John foresaw that there would be a total of eight world kingdoms. He said five were, one is, and one is yet to come. The first five kingdoms were as follows: Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persians, and Greece. John went on to say one is; which was the Roman Empire of his day.”

“So, that leaves two empires. Well, one formed yesterday when Antoine Levine announced the unification with the European Union. Daniel prophesied that the seventh empire would be a revived Roman Empire. It is made up of the same countries as in John’s day.”

The people were hooked on what Gregg was saying, hanging onto every word. “Now, John said the seventh would rule for a short period; this is because the Antichrist will take it over and rule himself.”

“In the beginning the Antichrist will rule along with the World Church and its leader the False Prophet; which I will explain shortly.”

“Daniel foretold of the kingdoms of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome; which for times sake I do not have time to explain, tonight. If you would like to study it for yourself it is in Daniel chapter eight verses one through eight.”

“Many have thought in the past that verses eight through fourteen of Daniel chapter eight was speaking of the Antichrist, not so. It was speaking of a man named Antioch Epiphanes. It is good to read because they had the same spirit, but are not the same person.”

Gregg was trying to wrap it up, but no one looked like they were in a hurry. “Some people have asked me how we know that we have seven years left, again, Daniel has the answer to that question.”

“In Daniel chapter nine he tells of how the angel Gabriel gave him understanding. Gabriel declared seventy weeks to the Jewish people, starting with the restoring of Israel, which happened in 445 B.C. according to (Nehemiah 2:1).”

“These are not normal weeks, but weeks of years, seven per week. You will find this method in the Bible many times; (Genesis 29:26, 27) has an example.”

“Now, Daniel was told that the seventy weeks would stop when the Messiah was cut off, (Daniel 9:26). The time from the rebuilding of Jerusalem until the crucifixion of Christ was four hundred and eighty-three years, leaving seven years, or one week left to be fulfilled.”

“The clock will be started when the Antichrist makes a covenant with the Jewish people for seven years. And he shall confirm the covenant with them for one week (Daniel 9:27).”

“The contract signing yesterday started the last week promised to the Jewish people. The clock has started for the end of the world.”

A man in the crowd piped up and remarked, “How do we know this is the man and what to expect?”

“I am about to show you how the Bible proves specifically who he is.” Gregg answered the man.

“I first will make a statement that doesn’t have real importance, but when I read my brother’s notes it was quite interesting.”

“Many people have asked how a man could be born destined to be doomed; it is because this man’s choice was made two thousand years ago. When studying the scriptures there is reason to believe that the Antichrist will have the spirit of Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Jesus.”

The crowd looked at each other like Gregg was crazy, what he expected. He knew this wasn’t essential, but he wanted to show them how evil this man will be.

“Notice the beginning of this verse, The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit (Revelation 17:8). John is very clear here that he was, isn’t at his time, but will ascend out of the bottomless pit.”

“Now you have to search the scriptures to see who it is. What did Jesus call Judas? Those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. (John 17:12b).”

“Then there is only one other time that term is used. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (II Thessalonians 2:3).”

“Then Peter had this to say of Judas, That he may take part of this ministry and this apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place (Acts 1:25). He said his own place, makes it sound like a holding spot. Now, if you had been in torment for two thousand years and rose from the bottomless pit for seven years, you would have wrath to bring on the world.”

Gregg noticed people were trying to process all this, so he explained, “It isn’t an issue, though. No matter if it’s Judas or someone else, he will be diabolically evil.”

“Some people were excited,” Gregg continued, “when Antoine said he was going to spread the wealth to all peoples so everyone will benefit. Daniel said the Antichrist would, and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches Daniel 11:24).”

“The Antichrist will do that which has never before been done by any leader, he will prosper others.”

“He came forward announcing how he had all the answers. A king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. (Daniel 8:23). Daniel saw this man many years ago. He saw how he would have answers for problems no one ever did before.”

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25).”

“The devil fell from Heaven because he was magnified in his heart, and this man will have the same spirit. The first half of the Tribulation Period will deceive many people; Christians included. The Antichrist will rule with peace, he will speak only happiness. The wars in this world will cease, crime will be down to a minimum. The devil influences people, so he will back off long enough for his man to rule in peace. Do not be deceived by this peace.”

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.  (Daniel 12:10)”

“If you don’t get Jesus you will be deceived by this man. Only those rooted in Christ will see him for who he truly is; a deceiver. This is why many have not understood the Word of God in the past, even so called Christians. If you are in sin you only read the letter of the Word, not the Spirit of the Word.”

“The first seal opened in the Book of Revelation shows the Antichrist, And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2).”

“In the past theologians have taught this was Christ, not so. When Jesus comes he will have a sword, the Word, and He will not conquer; He will take what is already His. Antoine in great arrogance rode a white horse into Jerusalem.”

“The Book of Revelation says there will be a False Prophet that will head up the World Church. Mark said in his notes he believed it would be the Pope, it appears he was right.”

“I won’t take the time to explain all this, but In Revelation chapter seventeen John saw a vision of the World Church as a whore. The whore was sitting on seven mountains. What city is famous for seven mountains? It is Rome, and the Vatican is in Rome.”

“The Catholic Church for years has tolerated all forms of sin. In their eyes   everything was alright as long as you confessed in a booth and did penance. They even tolerated organized crime and murderers, proclaiming they would be in purgatory for a time. There is no Biblical scripture that proves of anyplace called Purgatory, it has been a lie.”

“In all fairness, the Catholic Church will not be the only denomination that will make up the whore. It will be made up of all religions. Everyone will be accepted, no matter who their god is; but it won’t be the One True God.”

“Many of you, as well as me, have been members of this church for years. Those denominations that accept sin and say it will not keep you out of Heaven, were already members of this church. They were members in spirit.”

“If you reason it out, believing sin is tolerable is stupid. If man can’t live free from sin, then God created Adam and Eve knowing they would sin for it is impossible not to live free from it. He tempted them with evil waiting for them to sin if you believe that damnable doctrine. If God created Adam and Eve knowing they would sin he is to blame for all sicknesses, all diseases, all evil upon this world since creation and until the end of time would be His fault. You see, when you reason with God, break it down to common sense, you realize tolerating sin is a doctrine straight from the pits of hell.”

Gregg went on about salvation and had another altar call, and even more than the night before came to the altar to accept Christ, and Gregg was thrilled.

He was glad God used him and hope God kept him and the others, for in three and a half years this world will be hell on earth.
