I've missed you!

words of an addict newly sober. written by: Mark Nichols in 2002. He later on relapsed became sober again and then died in oct. 2003. this is the same man I have written about in some of my poems and who's life and death changed me forever. inspired by Brians poem 'an addiction' I thought I'd shed some light on what begins when one does decide to quit. (out of the darkest hour comes the brightest light) Brian is right addiction is not a disease.
But wrong thinking, negative emotions; seething anger and jealousy, depression, fear etc etc. are the underlying cause of energy disruption in the body which in turn causes pysical disease. People have the choice to change the way they think at any given time. If they only understood that all the power they put out comes back to them four fold. this is why those emotions can debilitate one so, and seem to be coming from 'out there' so to speak,
when in all actuality they are but you were the one who sent out the first emotion which gathered momentum and came back four times bigger. well, I could go on but I won't.
