The Cross In The Middle
Standing against the sunset
on a hill called Calvary,
In the midst of pain and suffering
on a cross hang these three.
~*~
A thief whom stole from the poor
and left them more the needy,
hanging on the right side
crucified for being greedy.
~*~
The one whom hangs on the left
a murderous heart of intent,
his evil ways sealed his fate
yet still he refused to repent.
~*~
But the cross in the middle
was mean't for you and me,
there hangs a pure and precious man
whom took our place upon that tree.
