God is all around us. Religion is complicated, but faith is not. Here is my take on a little thing we call creation. Don't take it too seriously, but think about it, and enjoy.

In The Beginning

In the beginning,
there was nothing.
No light, no dark,
just One.

He had a plan, but it would take time,
lots of time.
So He created time.

And with a thought, a bang!
A big, big bang!
And now He had lots of time,
and lots of stuff to work with.

And this stuff,
born of nothing,
became everything,
and stretched to everywhere.

And now this stuff,
these sparks and quarks,
these pieces and parts,
needed order.
So He created laws.

And all these parts, they fell in line.
Became stars and planets,
and galaxies fine.
They followed His rules, they used His time.
It took lots of time.

And they spun and they massed,
and they grew, and they became.
So much , so little, almost alive.
But not alive,
not like Him.
Not yet.
But He had so much time.

So He created breath,
and breathed to life,
life.
And that life would be in His image,
with dominion over stuff,
but made from stuff, and time.
But it would take lots of time, to evolve, according to His plan.
So He created evolution.

And so, from thought, and stuff, and time,
and love,
we became.
To be a part, to share His heart.
To look and listen,
to wonder and learn,
to question and yearn.
To seek Him out.

For He is everywhere,
and He is everything.
In the smallest of particles to the end of eternity.
And of all His creations, only we are like Him,
able to appreciate all He has done,
for He did it all for us.
And that was His plan,
from the beginning.
