There is a man who died for you,

And died for sinners just like me;

And shed His blood upon the tree,

And gave His life for you and me.

He died and rose on the third day,

And cleansed us from our sin,

So we may know Him as our Lord,

And let Him be our daily guide.

Nor did a single one ere care,

They heard but did one person learn,

There hearts were cold like stone and hard,

They need to know Him as their King.

Now lord I thank you once again,

Your dying made us free from sin,

And I can bring my need to Him,

So He may help me, all the way.
