The little girl

Hiding behind her imaginary wall

That smile tries to peak out

From that blanket that covers her face

The blanket of tears

The blanket of pain

Covering her today

Another word

Hard to take in,

But so easy to say

She hides under her rock

While people walk and walk away

She glances up

Hoping for just one person to help

She prays for that hand

When she knows its there

She glances her last time

To see her Savior

Her friend that was there all the time

Stand, my daughter

Don't hide no longer

There's nothing to fear

Take some steps with me

I will guide you and never leave

Don't keep that cover

I've taken the pain

Its gone

All those words have been thrown away

Come to me

Grasp my hand

My arms are your wings

I will help you fly

Come,

Smile, fly above the clouds

Your dreams are coming true

She flies above the clouds

Knowing only her Savior saved her

He brought me from the depths of the earth

Dead and alone

To be free in the clouds

How merciful

How wonderful

How full of love

My Savior is.
