I creep along
With the pace of the trees and bush
All around is a hush
I am naked in my skin
I feel myself in a single point of consciousness
Now, all is pure
My breath is the pulse of the Earth
A slight moment of shock
Too quick for real terror
Or pain
I am engulfed by the predator
A bloody feast
But not to worry
This is my part to play in this moment
