COUPLET- This type of poem is two lines which may be rhymed or unrhymed. I made 5 couplets here.

I took the opportunity to challenge myself in creating something really out of the box because I have tried my best to make rhymes both at the beginning and end of each line.

YOU always give me the strength that I need
NO plan to surrender in sowing your seed

YOUR words are powerful as they lift up my heart
DOOR to a safe haven when the world sets apart

WISE you are but gentle, you never make me cry
NICE of you to remind that to love means not to lie

STAY with me, my dear friend, I need your mending words
DAY by day, each moment they're my defending swords

NOW you carry the cross taking the rough road to heaven
HOW you shower peace, hope and love, indeed you're a gift that God's given!
