I was in a spiritual mood. This is the product. Also, the picture was meant to go with this poem specifically. I drew it myself. View table of contents...

I thought I was God...
Until you set my soul on fire.
Nothing has ever matched my desires,
Nothing fit right,
No fear or passion...
I have become awestruck
Of this amazing beauty.
I'm dumbfounded by your undeniable grace.
You fed my starving spirit,
You led me to a glass stream
Where pearls fell from each tree
Like delicate wintery apples.
Just as their nature,
I had grown cold.
But your loving hands embraced my dreams,
Taught me to dream,
To grow...

I thought I was God,
Until you showed me this much more.
I remember lying breathless on the freezing bathroom floor.
You warmed me,
You kept me alive...
Even when I turned my back
On you, you caught my arm.
You kept me safe and sound and reignited my flame.
My creativity in tact,
My pencil moves and traces
Each dream you have fed
As they grew and longed for nourishment.
I want this wildfire,
I want to spread through each tree.
With every breath in me, I want to rise like a phoenix,
Newborn and ready to fly...
To dream...

At times we get euphoric and must be humbled in life to gather its juices.
