This is a poem from my Anthology entitled LIGHT TO THE WORLD. It was written in September 1959. It is about a fight against the evils of the world and the belief that there is hope of salvation. It is not an indication of my religious persuasion.

Why stand up and look by
While others suffer and cry?
Choose the Lord as your leader;
Kick Satan - he’s a deceiver.

Be soldiers on God’s side;
On that side all things abide,
For God’s men are God’s soldiers
And forever you’ll be victors.

Throw off your coats and fight
Like locusts in peasants’ sight;
Lay hold on eternal life
And show them you can stand the strife.

Fight The Good Fight Of Faith,
Sensation on earth create,
Do everything that is right
And continue to fight the Fight.
