Forgot the Holiness she left behind.
And God watched from up above,
But the girl had certainly lost her mind.
God brought His fist down.
A stroke of light shone through.
The girl fell as the clouds broke.
Trembling, fearful, she'd forgotten who to pray to.
God cried in His tremendous voice,
The girl fled back to from where she came.
She wept and thrashed about,
Hid her face with her new found shame.
The girl found herself alone,
With only her past sins and tears.
She bowed down and prayed out loud,
Asking Almighty to overcome her fears.
She took up her cross,
For she was a soldier of light.
She repented for her mistakes,
And went out to win this glorious fight.
God knew of this girl's intentions,
The girl was returning to the start,
Satan was beneath her feet.
She wanted to possess a clean heart.
Lucifer was her accuser and adversary,
But, still he trembled before the meek.
The girl left and returned to God,
And vicious revenge did he seek.
