Have You Ever Been Lonely

Have you ever been lonely and thought no one even cared Did you think that someone liked you but never had courage to take a dare Well I know someone who really loves you no matter what kind of flaws you may have His name is Jesus and He has always been with all of us to see us through all of our despair Life has all kinds of trouble everyone knows that is true Even when we think things are going well something hits us out of the blue And all that we ever want is someone to be close to And I know that Jesus He really is that dream come true When Jesus was with us for those thirty-three years He grew up just like we all did but his times were filled with fears Rome was a powerful government they didn't put up with much So when some Rabbis came a complaining they tried to rewrite them up as mulch Jesus was crucified because He loved all of us He was hanged on a tree because we deserved to be there instead of Him Thankfully three days later He arose from the dead just like He said So now we know that someone really loves us in spite of what the world say So the next time you feel lonely and you feel like no one care There no need to go to bed lonely because the Holy Spirit is there He is a gift from Jesus so we will never be alone And He is given to all whose sins by Jesus have been atoned
