Might I as about your book?
The one that's in your hand?
Not that I wish to take a look,
I'm just curious, you understand
The Holy Bible that you hold
Have you read it all?
The title's printed clear and bold
Like graffiti on a wall
What makes it so holy to you
If it's not the words of one?
If it is telling you what to do,
Is it dictating what others have done?
And what's so pleasant about testament one?!
Incest, blood and gore?
The second contains a holy son?
Surely it's promising more!
You say "Don't test
You'll invoke God's wrath"
Just give it a rest,
I'll walk my own path!
