Thank you also. I feel blessed to know ppl are reading what is in my heart and mind.

Cool! This poem describes my memories of being very ill as a child, and in my parents' bed clinging on to my mother while these creatures wanted to take me away. When I looked in the mirror it wasn't me but a changeling trying to convince me to go with 'them'. I was in a fever of course and nine years of age. I am 61 now so you can see the effect your poem has had on me, disturbing those things I thought had gone forever. Wonderful. Welcome to Booksie.
