A small example of God's love for us.

There's a knot in my shoe,

I can't get it out.

That's kind of like my life,

no good seems to sprout.

I can get out all the loose laces,

they come out okay.

Just like I can fix the small problems in my life,

that I face day by day.

I could get the small problems out,

but the knot was just as bad as before.

Sometimes I get so angry

I stand and slam a door.

Well, that's how it was,

until I asked for help.

I got my dad to untie my shoe

so I could run and play and never have to yelp.

That's how God is

He sets the prisoners free.

He unties all our problems and

takes the shackels off our feet.

He asks for nothing in return,

He is the King of all the Kings.

He unties my shoe, takes it off,

and begins to wash my feet.
