Guiding Angel
An Angel shadowed me tonight,
My hand, she held so warm.
In dreams I always see her face,
I hear her words, of calm..
All is well, and sleep my sweet
Is what she said to me
I put my trust in the Angel fair
As her warmth cocooned me here.
She sang for me, a lullaby,
Of Angels who have passed.
Named all my loved ones, missed sorely
They too had peace at last.
In dream I bid my Angel fair,
Goodbye, till we meet again.
She left me with a sleeping smile.
God sent my Angel friend.
