Why Pray
Time and again I hear someone say, what purpose does it serve to pray!
Within your heart the answer lies, as some of us will realise.
For some of us it has been learned, taught to us from our parents,
As a must!
For others things have happened in their lives, and as a result they
Prayed to survive!
In prayer some find comfort, peace, while others will find hope or strain will ease!
A spiritual calm can be found in prayer, and the need to have faith is what is in the hearts of many!
When disaster rears it’s ugly head, at night there are some who on their bed, praying for their souls to be in peace.
Who pray for loved ones who are weak, who ask forgiveness for wrongs they have done.
Who spiritually find in praying that good will come!
So when you ask why do you pray, remember that it is in your heart the answers lay!
