Beautiful beyond description...
Is The Head once bowed in shame.
Surrounded by A Crown of thorns,
From it, MY Salvation came!

Beautiful beyond description...
Is The Face once beaten so.
Disfigured, unrecognizable, covered in blood,
Yet... still His Compassion did Glow!

Beautiful beyond description...
Two Hands nailed to MY cross.
Callused from years of carpentry,
Yet... Gentle upon the sick and needy - A Touch as Soft as floss!

Beautiful beyon description...
A Body, muscled and strong.
Years of helping His earthly Father, Joseph, made it so, 
Yet... on MY cross It hung forlorn to right MY wrongs!

Beautiful beyond description...
Two Feet pierced cruelly through.
They'd Trodden upon The Holy Land,
But became Transfixed for ME AND YOU!

Beautiful beyond description...
Was The Tongue that Spoke ONLY The Love of God.
Swollen, Parched and Blistered,
Yet... Right at the end, "Father, FORGIVE!" - again The Love of God!

Beautiful beyond description...
The Heart and Spirit and Soul.
Willing MY punishment and suffering to take,
SO THAT I CAN BE MADE WHOLE!

Beautiful beyond description...
The Smile and Welcom awaiting ME.
When through Heaven's Gates I enter,
And my Beautiful Jesus I SEE!!!
