for all that I see?

The flowers, the birds;

the bumblebee?

for the fresh fragrant air?

The sun on my face;

the wind in my hair?

Did I thank You today

for the breaths that I take?

For the beat of my heart;

feelings I cannot forsake?

Did I thank You today

for the mercy you've shown,

When I burnt the dinner;

and threw a fit on the phone?

Did I greet You this morning,

or even speak at all?

Did I praise You anyway,

when I took that fall?

From the depths of my heart,

I thank You now;

and I ask forgiveness,

as I humbly bow.
