I wrote this poem when younger and I had my first encounter with God.

If but I knew what You require,
upon this form which I hold,
perhaps You would aquire,
the things You long to know.

My life I've lived as best I could,
though at times I pause and wonder,
if I could change somethings I would,
perhaps a few, maybe one blunder.

You know those things which I feel,
which direction my heart lies in.
You know the falsehoods and what is real,
perhaps one day I can pass within.

Though times were hard You picked me up,
and made me try again.
When I was thirsty You refilled my cup,
You know my every sin.

Pray please read this let there be no mistake,
and understand I long to be,
beyond the madness for my own sake,
and dwell my Lord with Thee.
